What is eMatrix eye rejuvenation?
eMatrix eye rejuvenation is a sublative laser treatment that can improve the tone, texture and color of the skin around your eyes. Sublative rejuvenation addresses baggy eyes, dark circles, crow’s feet, laugh lines and other common wrinkles and folds on the face. How does eMatrix eye rejuvenation work?
Sublative laser rejuvenation works on all skin types to stimulate new collagen production.* Using bipolar radiofrequency energy, heat is directed below the surface of the skin. The heat from the laser helps to generate new collagen while keeping the top layer of skin intact.* With increased levels of collagen, your skin will be smoother and its overall strength and structure will improve.* The procedure is very comfortable and patients do not experience any damage to their skin. At most, many of our patients describe feeling a warm, prickly sensation. After treatment, a red or pink “sunburn” appearance may be seen. We may use a topical anesthetic ointments and cooling to reduce any unpleasant sensations that you might feel during treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments you need will vary. When you schedule a consultation at Le Rêve Med Spa in Pasadena, we can create a treatment plan just for you. This treatment plan will be based on your individual needs and your desired results. Most of our patients receive 3 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
What can I expect from the results?
Many of our patients begin to see results after 1 treatment, though your results will continue to improve for the next several months to a year.* With healthy, new skin cell and collagen production, mild-to-moderate wrinkles and superficial skin discolorations are reduced.* The texture of your skin will become smoother and more elastic.* You may notice mild redness, dryness and flaking as the older layers of skin exfoliate. This is normal and should only last a few days. Hypoallergenic cosmetics can be used to cover up any redness that you experience.
