What is CoolSculpting® Anyway?
CoolSculpting® is a method of fat reduction designed to addresses targeted areas around your body safely and effectively, without surgery or downtime! This fat reduction treatment is the only FDA-cleared procedure that uses something called “controlled cooling” to safely target and reduce resistant fat.*
The way it works is simple. When you arrive at our Pasadena office, you will be asked to lie down and relax. Then the treatment applicator will be placed on the area that you would like sculpted. As the cooling process, you will feel pressure and intense cold. This can be accompanied by gently pulling, pinching, and numbness in some cases.
However, this process does not require any sedation or surgical procedure and is generally described as tolerable. In fact, many people read, watch videos, work on their laptop, or even take a nap during their treatment.
